Tibetan Ting Sha

 

Ting sha are Tibetan 'musical instruments' and whilst they can be considered to be a form of Tibetan 'bell', they are used in folk music and occasionally in ritual in the sense of the offering of sound. This large plain Ting sha has a most beautiful sound, resonates for a long period and is often used by westerners for clearing, and for meditation on sound.
